A few weeks ago I said here that I'm buying the Godox V860I-S flash and the Godox X1t-s transmitter. No Misfires. You just have to put the flash in Slave mode and check your channel and group.

Sorry for the late update.

i'm happy to inform you that the setup is awesome..... recycle time up to 1/2 +3 is instant, for full power recycle is 2secs. very impressive. no misfires

this one... With Li-On Battery

and this...

I had the Neewer (same as Godox just rebranded) version of the TT850s.... still have em for sale I bought two and both batteries had the split and expand issue. I have one of the original shape that replaced then Godox came out with a updated battery and i have one of those. These batteries have not had the issue of the first gen peeps talk about. Someone posted about Godox... they are an older company but yes warranties are hard with the china co's.... neweer said they were sending me a new battery but never did. Mine are for canon and for sale fyi not bad manual they recycle so fast and the batteries lasted longer for me than AA

Just a snapshot of one of the regulars at the local VFW using the Batis 25 wide open. Iso was 5000.

it doesnt look great, but it does look fairly centered, all extremes look equally soft and closest towards center look similar. I know my SY 14 has a noticeable discrepancy where this is fine IMO. If you've got major OCD, you may have another opinion :-P

maybe do 1 test focused on center and 1 test focused on extreme corner.

I typically only do one test focused on extreme corner and compare.

I'll do another test and focus on each extreme corner. I had always thought it was centre focus then move camera only. I also thought it was f/8 through so shows what I know :)

This is my most expensive lens so want to make sure it's ok before return period passes

For me, #1 has two competing points of interest – Law Courts, and waterfall – which I personally find visually unsettling.
I vastly prefer #2. Great shot.

In December I was going to suggest on here we could start a Sony 52 week project thread with set themes each week. I'd be up for something like that, different people choose the theme/topic each week

What do you think is best? Each of us having a go at picking a weekly theme or just following one from google? For example here is a list I just found on google images -

We can start a separate thread for it but just want to see what the consensus is for kicking it off

Number 2 for me. When I saw number 1 I thought is there any way you could get in front of those plants and catch the full waterfall then I saw shot 2. In shot 2 if you take a step or 2 to the right you may be able to catch the entire building at the top in the gap?
