I finished the pano image of the Copa America game. The detail is astounding in the high res version which I will also link below. I had to shoot at f6.3 and ISO2500 so I could keep the shutter up over 1/100 sec to avoid motion blur in the people. The front of the image is sharp and fades towards the back of the stadium due to the shallow DoF. I like the effect actually. The players are sharp which was a relief to me.

14 shot pano with the Loxia 21 stitched in Lightroom CC. I couldn't justify the price of Autopano Giga quite yet.

Thanks Carlo! Can you guys see what long lenses the sports shooters are using? I'm super jealous. Haha.

No issues with movement in the stands between shots with the pano?

Yes in some areas but mostly towards the back which the shallow DoF helps hide. I didn't see any issues up front. The higher shutter speed helped as did shooting quickly. I think Autopano Giga has a feature to help with movement to mask it out kind of like deghosting.

I'm game for a 52 project with themes.

Although I went out to shoot this afternoon and came home with nothing but junk...kind of uninspired lately.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

This is one of my neighbors. She was 3 years old and living on Oahu when Pearl Harbor was attacked. Her dad was in the Navy there.

FE 85 GM mounted on the Sony a6300. Focusing was done using AF-C, wide, eyeAF.

Hope you're in a cool place for vacation (both meanings of "cool"). It's gotten so hot here at home the last two days. Always hate it when I take the dogs out at 3AM and it still feels hot. Really looking forward to your captures. :)

Thanks David. I'm extremely happy with the quality put out by this lens. Here's one more using the same setup as above. Because of her hair, I just had to keep this shot in color. :-)

Outstanding shot Eddie! The lines of the rocks in the foreground lead my eye to the mountain. Only change I might make is crop the right area where the mountain starts going up. Did you use any ND filters?
