Outstanding shot Eddie! The lines of the rocks in the foreground lead my eye to the mountain. Only change I might make is crop the right area where the mountain starts going up. Did you use any ND filters?

I probably should have rotated the camera left a bit to centre the main mountain and lose that bit in the right corner. It was cloudy today so not the best of light. I used a Lee 4x4 CPL, Lee Little Stopper and Lee 3 stop soft GND. I also used the smooth reflections app on a second shot to smooth the water more and then combined the two exposures in post.

Really liking the Batis 18

Very cool. I'm glad to hear you like the Batis. Still waiting for mine.

it's a great image, thinking a vertical orientation would be good too (would be a bit different from the crop with more foreground or done with 25 for similar look)

Hope you're in a cool place for vacation (both meanings of "cool"). It's gotten so hot here at home the last two days. Always hate it when I take the dogs out at 3AM and it still feels hot. Really looking forward to your captures. :)

Florida Coast near Cape San Blas. Its been nice. Low 90s during the day with a coastal breeze.

I thought mine was decentered at first but it ended up not being. It does loose sharpness in the extreme corner but gains it very quickly as you move inwards. I shot this at f/8 but 5.6 is sharper I think.

Beautiful scene Eddie.

Well, I picked up my plaque today to hang on the wall at the local VFW. I think the artist did a great job.
