Just a personal preference Alfredo but I'd like to see just a bit more contrast to deepen the shadow a little...and a slight w/b adjustment, at least for how it appears on my monitor.

Here are my quick, subtle adjustments of it as an example.

Gene, very nice. I like your edits. It's weird because in my monitor my shadows and colors were stronger but it's not that way when viewing the image on my iPhone. I'm going to change up the background color workspace in LR CC and PS CC. I read that makes a difference. Colors and tone may appear different when your workspace background is a dark grey vs light grey. Your version has more pop and the yellows in the foreground are stronger.

Glad you liked the edit. I thought there was a bit of cyan overtone to the image, hence the w/b adjustment. I always check my images using different colored backgrounds on my PS workspace too. I even have a custom workspace color that matches the background on this forum. It can make a big difference on how an image looks when viewed with a light background vs a dark one.

Here's the hex # if anyone else is interested. (You can have fun with this color and make a 'hole' in the background too. :-D )

Both awesome. 25 seems sharper in the corners but both seriously good. You just have to decide how wide you want to go

Decided to rent them both...i think for most of the trip the 25 will do...but I really want to play with both of them.

Awesome shots Charlie. Love the color of the first one. And it reminds me of quarreling siblings for some reason. The sunflower on the left is jealous of the radiance of the flower on the right. Haha

Guys, I'm going to sell my Format-Hitech ND kit if anyone is interested. They are the original ProStop IRND ND filters in 3, 6, 10 stops along with the filter holder and two step up rings. Thanks.

OK really need a help here. Resolution query again!! Sorry

I edited this photo so that the jpeg was 2048 and uploaded to flickr. I then posted the 1024 version here (biggest allowable size on POTN as flickr doesnt have a 1280 option). The IQ is still being affected as the 1024 version posted is being stretched.

Look at the screen shot below - POTN version on the left and 2048 file on the right from PS. Look at the detail difference in the background

What am I doing wrong??

EDIT - Its much more pronounced on my screen. The tree above the water is sharp as a tack on the 2048 version but mushy on the POTN version. Also when I check flickr and view the 2048 version its fine
