I like that Tamron too, I rented it once, the A7Rii works great with it, but its just HUGE!

while images where good, Tamron 15-30+adapter+ a7Rii is just way way to big.

You never run out of stuff to complain about do you. :p

I imagine it is pretty huge. It's not unlike the massive 11-24mm, which is not too huge for me. Short heavy lenses bother me less than long heavy lenses (fast telephotos).

Your work photos look like mine..construction. ..but I dont take my Sony typically. I did bring it this trip to get some images for the client.

This is how I write off my camera gear. Just make sure I take a pic of any of our work with all the lenses. Then I write it off the tax as an expense. I have sold a few prints this way not so much to make money but to back up the tax issue.

You'll appreciate the forms in my photo had to be delivered to Phoenix from San Diego and Portland Or. They allow us to go down 16 ft. We hit sand at 8 feet. Was quite the construction challenge for 2000 feet of line

Love that Loxia 21 sun star! And there is a rich microcontrast and color rendering as well. Yet another wide angle lens I really really really want. Nice shot Carlo. :)

Nice shot Carlo. Cool sun star too. I love the Houston skyline. I wanted to grab some shots when I was out there but didn't have time.

My only concern is the size.... really I switched to mirroless to keep things small. Now if they lop off 5' then...

Thanks David! I've really been enjoying the lens. 21mm has become as beloved of a focal length as 35 to me.

Thanks Alfredo. The Houston skyline has grown more photogenic recently thanks to the gentrification of downtown. Most of the buildings in that scene weren't there 3 years ago. Only wish I had waited for a train to pull into the light rail station!

little over sensitive, don't you think?

I did say its a great lens, but like eriet30 said, point of having a camera like a7 series is to get it a bit more compact.

I would pick Sony 16-35 over it any day to own, but on rare occasion i would still rent the Tamron.

not my image

I know this was discussed before, but what should I use to clean the a7rII sensor? I've got some pretty persistent specks and a rocket blower isn't doing the trick. I've used sensor wipes on the a7r, but am not sure what to use on the a7rII.
