Some pics from last night that did NOT get ruined by the weird smudge.

Beautiful! The orange sky glow is a perfect complement to the blue bridge lights.

Jul 11, 2016 23:26 | #20507 That's precisely why I went back there. Last time around, I got some good shots, but wanted to read-do a couple. Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

Nice cropability and a reason I'm saving up for the big sensor Canon. ![]() Nice! The sharpness is incredible. Saving up for a new Canon or sightly used one from your buddy here on POTN. If you think there is, you'll just end up buying new gear over and over again. And you'll never be satisfied. You just need to buy the gear which has compromises you're willing to live with. its not even about perfection for me, I don't think oh my camera doesn't do X but that one does so I want that one, I don't know what it is. I do know that there's always a compromise though Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

It's a fantastic camera though and I have a very high satisfaction level with all my current gear, so my Otus dreaming might end up going the same way of other notions (nowhere). I think we need to stay friends flickr

Jul 12, 2016 04:26 | #20518 Well, one of the characteristics of a magic bullet chaser is buying new gear all the time. I quote It’s an insidious addiction. You’re driven by a desire to improve, so it seems as if the effort and expense is justified. You get distracted, thinking that you need to BUY something to fix your pictures, when you probably need to LEARN something. When the latest toy doesn’t work out, you move on to the next. I'm definitely not that guy. 550D | EF-S 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 IS | EF 50mm F/1.8 II | EF 70-200mm F/4L IS | Speedlite 580EX II | LumoPro LP180 | Gitzo GT3541XLS | Arca-Swiss Monoball Z1 SP | ONA Bowery (black, non-leather)

I think its more to have the things that work out exactlyhow we want it to be. There are even people that made it to a hobby to try new things, why not. If you can afford it by selling other stuff that does not gets any use etc. Well, as I've said before. If people have GAS, are OK with it and have the money to pay for it, it's fine. It's their money and life in the end. 550D | EF-S 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 IS | EF 50mm F/1.8 II | EF 70-200mm F/4L IS | Speedlite 580EX II | LumoPro LP180 | Gitzo GT3541XLS | Arca-Swiss Monoball Z1 SP | ONA Bowery (black, non-leather)
