Charlie, what's that yellow circle on the building?

First few shots from the Batis 18 which I'm finding to be a sharp lens. Still feeling it out but AF was snappy and made shooting easy. This lens is great for interior shots. These were 5 bracketed shots merged in LR, edited in PS CC and Nik Color Efex.

The bar stool on the left messed up my symmetrical shot. I didn't catch it until I started importing the images. Oh well. I can always return to reshoot it.

at this point, godox for their complete system with bigger strobes. A 360 or 600 interchangeable with regular flashgun makes it an all in one system, no need to mix and match.

I'll never go back to studio setups with speed lights, strobes make life so much easier.

Loxias for sure. Batis 18 and even 25 = very desirable. CV 10 is so wide that it will have to be lower down in my priorities.

I could see a kit like: Loxia 21, 35, and 50, Batis 18 and 25, and 85 GM (would like to have at least one f/1.4 prime, which could either be 35mm, 50mm, or 85mm). The thing I like about the 85mm is it is proven to be just as excellent for landscapes as well as the short range subjects. Beyond that I'll decide what I want to do about zooms.

BTW, the 5DS R is now sold and may have a buyer for the 35L II. Just the sort of encouragement I needed!

Congrats! That's was quick. Sound like a killer lineup. I would love to own the 85GM too.
