A7RII. What about which frame rate is best?

It depends on the aesthetic you're going for. 24P is the frame rate used in cinema, so it will have the aesthetic of a movie. 30p or 60p will look like broadcast television, 'soap opera', or home video.

I dont think thats 100% right. Cinema will output 24p but most footage will be recorded 60p. You can always downsample which leaves more room when recording 60p.

I just currently shot several music videos that are now in post. Im really looking forward to the final videos but the first renderings of it look very promising. Will definitely post something here once its published.

You guys enjoy your Batis'.
I'm going to struggle on with my working man's 28mm.
Here's one with the poor man's 28 and the wide angle adapter.
I think I said long long ago that the 28/2 was a sleeper :)

I love my B25 but considering a repurchase of the FE28 too as I prefer the focal length for family stuff and it pairs well with the 55.

Thanks guys for the input on video.

The FE28 looks very appealing. Would work well on my a6000 to get an equivalent 35mm for shots of my family.

Agreed. Thats another thought im having. Pick up a a6300 and the Zony 24 1.8 or instead A6300 and FE28 and that way it can be used on both bodies. Cant quite get to a decision, Going to sell my Fuji though. Realised I was just keeping it as it looks amazing (One of the nicest looking cameras out IMO). However my Sony just feels better to me. The Fuji is very capable but struggles a bit with an active 3 year old.

Cinema is typically shot and output at 24fps. The flicker at 24fps is what gives movies the cinema type aesthetic. You can downsample 30 or 60p down to 24p, but its not an even conversion since 30 and 60 are not divisible by 24. Its kind of like watching a movie on an older 60hz TV...the aesthetic feels off. This is why 120hz and 240hz TV's became popular in pretty recent times...the refresh rates can evenly align with the FPS of the source material so the aesthetic is consistent.

I had the Zony 24 1.8, it was a nice lens, but I couldn't justify the cost, especially since it was only fully usable on A6300, but the Batis 25 in in its place, but that Sony 28 does look very interesting.

I had a play with the 6300 and B25 before I returned the 6300 (thinking I was keeping the Fuji) and it was a nice combo. The Batis lenses are at the maximum size I an be bothered with now though and still feel big in comparison to the FE28 for example. When I used to walkaround with the 28/55 combo it just felt right size wise

How do you keep your camera cool when shooting in 105°+ temperatures? My camera slowed way down at that temperature. I didn't have any options other than staying in the shade, removing the battery and opening the LED screen. Finding shade was difficult.

I was thinking next time I shoot in those conditions using an ice chest with sealed cool packs, and putting the camera in a bag with a desiccant pack. Take it out just before shooting. Any other ideas?

Can anyone recommend a sturdy and reasonably cheap pocket/table tripod? (Small, cheap and sturdy - that's probably not possible now I think about it).

I know some use the RRS pocket pod but that's not available in the UK and regardless RRS is expensive. Any other options?
