i think the iPhone 7 Plus is now downsize to the size of 6s. not sure but i thought i read it somewhere. i also dump my iPhone 6 Plus because of the size. it's big you can't use it with one hand.

Am I the only Samsung Edge user?
I downsized from a note and live much easier. Loved the size of the note but day to day pocketing/removing
the Edge is just easier--and the Edge got some weather protection which is important to me too.

You can do it right on Apple's website, and are able to specify your carrier. They have financing options you can opt for. The two year contracts were basically baked in financing agreements anyway. These things are $500+ no matter how you slice it :-)

Well at least for me it was pretty much free until this year. With 2 years contract, I was always able to score iphones at $199+tax or $299+tax depending on which model. Then I always sold old phones at around $250-$350 depending on which model. There were no additional charges during the next 2 contracted years. All I had to do was commit to AT&T for 2 years which was not a big deal for me.

I asked AT&T why they stopped the 2 year contracts, and was told because the phone prices are becoming just way too expensive and can't provide phones at discounted costs anymore, even with 2 years contracts. Oh well... I'll dearly miss the almost free (or with very minimal amounts - less than $100 for sure!) upgrades every 2 years..

OTOH, Sprint is offering 2 year contracts with free iphone7 if you trade in your eligible cell phone. I don't think I'd be interested in joining Sprint, but here is the link if anyone is interested.

it's funny, my mom likes the 5s size and form factor so much, she bought 2 of them in case her original breaks. She doesnt like the big phones.

I'm using a big phone right now, and it just grows on you. It's real nice, but most importantly is the fingerprint reader :-P

I'm so not joking about that fingerprint reader, it's soooooooo good, and there are apps can use it and store credentials. So awesome considering I have to deal with complex passwords and a password manager, typing it in can be a chore, 25 character passwords, and NOT phrases :-P

yeah the fingerprint reader is cool. You can also save additional prints so my wife's print is saved in mine and vice versa

Then you are misinformed. The 7 Plus has the exact same dimensions as the 6S Plus. Same story for the 6S and 7 (see iPhone 6S/6S Plus specs (external link) and iPhone 7/7 Plus specs (external link)).

My iPad 3 feels incredibly slow after installing iOS 9. And it won't support iOS 10. So it needs the upgrade the most. But even though it's really slow, I still love using it.

maybe I'm just used to the slow speed and don't notice. That would suck if Apple forced an upgrade by not letting it support new iOS uodates

It's already official. Scroll down to the bottom of this page (external link) to see the list of supported devices. Well, support is going to stop at some point. The iPad 3 is about 4,5y old (in terms of technology that's like a human being 200 years old). Of course nothing prevents you from using your iPad 3 with iOS 9 on it.

Adobe color used to be refered to as Kuler and should show up as an extension in Ps. I know when I bought CS6 it was there, so I didn't need to use the website anymore. Of course, if they've changed the name of it online they may have changed the name of the Ps extension as well.

Is it just me, or is Apple the "Boy Band" that people never grow out of? Seriously, I can't go anywhere on the web today without seeing articles extolling the virtues of the new Apple phone, or people reminiscing about their previous Apple products.

Yep, I know it was called Kuler before. And you can still find it in Photoshop CC under the menu Window -> Extensions -> Adobe Color Themes. :-)
