It's held up so far for my oldest who just turned 8. He's steadily been in the 90th percentile and is the tallest in his class despite being the youngest (august baby).
Interestingly enough im an even 6 ft but my brother and parents are short. In my case there's more to it than DNA....I was born here in the US and grew up on a western diet. Didn't like filipino food as a kid at all.
My brother immigrated here when he was 8 and I was 4....I have a good 4 inches on him
I was told about how tall I was going to be all the way up through middle school, then I just stopped growing around 9th grade... was told I was too small to play my usual position (center middy) in Lacrosse so I quit that and joined gymnastics and the rest is history
That's really interesting about your family, genetics and the whole nature vs nurture debate is always fascinating to me.

too bad the dual lens comes only in 7 Plus. i hate it when company do that especially apple.
I don't get the appeal of the 2 lenses... a 2X zoom is next to useless in my opinion. I think doing something like the Huawei P9's dual cameras makes a lot more sense, where one is a monochrome camera and it combines the images of both to improve the image quality (reducing noise, improving dynamic range, etc). Either way it doesn't matter, the camera on my phone is the last thing I care about, I'd honestly buy a phone that didn't even have a camera... I've had a camera with WiFi on me at all times for the past year at least, why do I need my phone to take pictures?

they offer a lightning cable to headphone adapter if you wish.
Kind of a bold move to do away with the jack.
Bold and inconvenient, and not the ideal solution either in my opinion. So now if you want to charge your phone and listen to music with your headphones (something I do frequently) you have to carry the adapter with you? And if you're using Apple's own headphones do you have to choose between charging and listening to music, or is there another adapter for that too?

That's indeed the main disadvantage. Luckily for me I hardly ever use my iPhone to listen to music (and definitely not while charging). If I wanna listen to music and I'm not behind a PC, I just use my iPod shuffle.
I mean, whatever floats your boat... but why? I kinda don't understand how iPods are even still a thing, it's so much more convenient to just have your music on your phone with you, one less device to carry around. I haven't used my iPod in years.
