Nice work! I've got an x3 in that color. Yours is cooler though. :)

Out on the front porch this evening with the TAP + Sonnar C 50 ZM.

Nice shot, but the use of a magsphere seems kinda pointless don't you think?

Thanks! It's awesome.. they released v4 firmware which is a huge improvement over v3. I would now put the techart on par with the slower side of FE native lenses.. I'd say it starts to struggle a bit above F8, but it mostly depends on the light hitting the sensor.. F8 in bright daylight, it's going to be very quick.. F8 indoors when you're planning on using a flash, it would struggle more.

I'm still waiting on my MD/FD/R adapters from China, but the m42 adapter works great. Here's a Helios 44M-2 shot.

Overall it's an amazing piece of tech. It's seriously got me re-thinking my native lenses and which I could/should sell to pick up more MF glass.

There's also a ~ 25 page thread over at FM in the Sony forum about it if you're looking for more info / sample images.

I think the magsphere softened the light nicely.

5 shot stitch pano of downtown LA with Dodger Stadium in the foreground.

Scouted out some new locales for the DTLA skyline this morning. The skies were bright and uninteresting, the haze was horrible. But I plan to go back when the weather is a bit more photo friendly.

Thank goodness for the dehaze tool in LR. The "before" on these shots was pretty much awful.

Large size on Flickr. Worth it for the details of 5x42MP resolution :)
