LR doesnt even show the option...my version, whih is up to date lists the 25 and 85...my LR has been pitching fits lately...crashes all the time...might need to reinstall when I get home.

Probably a good idea. Mine has been really slow but I have been working on a huge pano recently.

Amazing light rays the other morning as the sun was rising behind my city. I took 7 groups of bracketed shots with 5 images per group. I ran each set through LR HDR Merge and then merged those 7 images again in LR using Panorama Merge. Final editing was done in PS CC, Color Efex, and a bit in On1.

Here is the link to the full size version if anyone wants to see the detail. I used the FE 55 since the Loxia 21 was not long enough to create the pano I had wanted. Although the FE 55 doesn't have as nice star bursts as the Loxia, the lens is very sharp.

Excellent work!
But it would be really nice if folks could be a tad more specific instead of "the sun was rising behind my city."

This isn't solely directed towards you it happens all the time and us poor sod foreigners ain't go no clue. I looked up your profile and all I could find was Chicago...is that what I am looking at?

I've been to Chicago but not this bit....?

Now If where an image is is totally unimportant / irrelevant - then excuse me for being curious ;-)a

Is that like a Canon Pixma Pro 100 (s) ???

If so I think it's a great printer. Dye as opposed to pigment ink, but my prints will see me out ;-)a

Great point. It's the city of San Antonio in the great state of Texas. Are you familiar with the Alamo? That's here in my city. Thank you!

Hmm remember that and cross posted my lightbulb moment with this post of yours. I was looking at timezone rather than State ;-)a

Is this an Alpina ? ? ? (Think I spelt it right) I remember one of these cruising around my area in the mid/late 80's. I haven't seen one since. It was so cool back then, low and loud !! I'm really enjoying your car shots, takes me back to when we had money to blow on cars so we did :-)

Ah IIRC we had Davie Crockett movies from USA - not sure if he was at the Alamo? But I do still remember the catch line "Davie, Davie Crockett King of the Wild Frontier" or something like that :-) Oh and he had a raccoon skin hat or something like that with a tail hanging down his neck (sorry for going off topic - indelible memories...)

Me again, I moved to the Canon 'pixma 100' from having TWO Epson's heads getting irredeemably blocked in 18 months. First a 2880 then a 3000 - Epson heads are a 'beyond economical repair item' cheaper to buy another printer!
My Pixma Pro 100s can have a new head for 80 bucks popped in by the end user.
Epson didn't work for me and I'm never going back!
