I like Mikey Mack's tutorial for MW shots, he's a forum member here, and had his method. It aligns with a lot of what I do in photoshop anyhow, but geared towards MW photography.

I'll have a search for it. I like his images but didn't realise there was a tutorial

he had some web link a few years back, the gist of it, curves and levels layer in photoshop, and a subtle radial mask? Something like that, it was pretty simple.

he has an older tutorial on his stream, but had a newer one somewhere on the web

here's the older one: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mikeymack/9292562592 (external link)

Sorry for the re-post but I have re-edited my campervan shot following the Michael Shainblum tutorial. Much happier with this version.

This was the night before my previous two shots and was taken on the Isle of Skye

Awesome even more. Eddie was just thinking of you as I walked out of the shuttle Atlantis exhibit KSC. Did you like how they revealed her?

Awesome! I loved it there. The reveal is brilliant the way they do it. Awe inspiring when you realise you are looking at the actual shuttle.

Keep an eye out for all the Eagles. Apparently the nests are over 50 years old. My longest lens was 85mm so didn't even attempt a photo

What monitor calibration tools are everyone using? I've never calibrated my monitor before and think I've got the colours pretty close but looking to get a calibration tool to ensure they are correct and also make sure my screen isn't too bright. I'm going to be getting prints done soon and I've had that issue before where the images look fine on my too bright screen then the prints are underexposed.

Any recommendations. It's a MacBook Pro retina screen in case it matters

Eddie, I'm using the iDisplay Pro and it does a great job. Not cheap but I feel it's worth the expense. See if there is a discount available.

Is that the X-rite one? I see that has an ambient light monitor that changes the screen luminance based on the ambient light. Does that mean the hardware is connected to your machine at all times when editing?
