Hadn't really thought about it till now but do you guys think LR 6.7 will support a6500 RAW files? Thanks

how old is that installation...if I have seen it correctly, the 6500 isn't even in stores yet...I doubt it wil be supported by an older LR installation...

I have much catching up to do on this thread, but before I go back and attempt to read about 300 posts, I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.

I just got back from a 4 day trip up HWY 395 and the Eastern Sierras. So I finally have some new material to share as soon as I'm done editing.

Here's a couple from Convict Lake, at sunrise on Thanksgiving morning. It was about 28 degrees (F) and rather frosty at about 8000 feet altitude. No drama in the skies, unfortunately, but I settled for some basic reflection shots.

Sorry but not sure what you mean by "installation". I updated the software on my Mac from LR 6.0 to LR 6.7 just evening. If asking how old version (installation?) 6.7 is, I can't say for certain. That would be disappointing if LR won't support RAW files from my new camera.

Here is a finished image shot with the Laowa 12. Very minimal perspective correction needed which is impressive given the architecture of the right building. 12mm offers an impressive field of view. Enough that I had to crop part of the bottom and some up top. Thank goodness for 42MP resolution on our sensor.

What a difference some bounce/diffusion makes

Agreed, the first shot is a6300 with straight on flash using the built in, the second is bounced and much softer
