Hadn't really thought about it till now but do you guys think LR 6.7 will support a6500 RAW files? Thanks

Cory, I could be wrong but I reckon you will get a free update to support the files once the camera is out as 6.7 is fairly recent. Normally there's a slight delay until Adobe catches up.

The issue I'm having with Photoshop and the a6300 files is because my Photoshop version is pretty old (cs6)

Thank you.

No problem. Looking at the site makes me realize that Koreans love Sony cameras (it seems about half of them are of Sony gear) and user reviews there have very high production value. A lot of the user reviews look better than those found on many professional review sites.

Sorry but not sure what you mean by "installation". I updated the software on my Mac from LR 6.0 to LR 6.7 just evening. If asking how old version (installation?) 6.7 is, I can't say for certain. That would be disappointing if LR won't support RAW files from my new camera.

Meaning is yours a stand alone version of LR or part of CC? If more recent, then yeah, upgrades come as needed...Adobe is good about it for current versions, they used to be pretty bad, at some point you fell out of update status, and couldn't get anymore updates for your version of the software.

Here is a finished image shot with the Laowa 12. Very minimal perspective correction needed which is impressive given the architecture of the right building. 12mm offers an impressive field of view. Enough that I had to crop part of the bottom and some up top. Thank goodness for 42MP resolution on our sensor.

really nice image, great warm tones.

Thank you! I have a few more to process. That one was edited using the new On1 RAW. So far so good.

I have the stand alone version of LR 6. Updated it to 6.7 last night. Hopefully Adobe will update again to support a6500 files. Now if the camera would ever become available!

I bit the bullet and subscribed to adobe CC about a year ago. It's worth it IMO, as all of the upgrades are done automatically and you never have to fuss with it.

The SONY RX100 V looks like a little fun family camera.

I have been on CC since it first came out...my version of PS was no longer supported, and I was stuck, unable to upgrade my camera gear...so it was worth it for me...and I like being able to keep it up to date. $120 a year isn't that much, when you consider how much a standalone version used to cost...that is a few years worth of a CC subscription.

Anyone else considering the Zeiss Zm 35 f1.4 lens? Looks to be an excellent 35mm lens.

Yes it is. Pricey but excellent. Phillip Reeve has a review of it.

I've thought about it a lot. It's very appealing to me. With the TAP adapter, it could be the best available 35mm for the a7 series.

I probably won't do it, especially if I go for a Phantom 4 Pro. Or, I may just sit and wait to see what the next Batis is. Surely that announcement can't be too far off.

second hand is fairly reasonable in price, not sure I want to deal with size and curvature issues though.
