Vinz and Carlo, excellent portraits!

Here are some festive Christmas lights from the Alamo Plaza in SATX shot with the Laowa 12mm (slightly cropped in).

Laowa 12mm

Our new convention center in SATX. Definitely have to go back and shoot more of this place.

I see you like the ultra mega wide, making good use of it.

Thanks Charlie. Yes I'm starting to get used to this ultra wide. It definitely requires some careful consideration for composition.

Haha...my car club guys did that at the start of 2015...i lost nearly 40 pounds...sadly, I found it this year...

I started trying to lose weight on January 2nd this year. I lost 21 pounds by July but now 16 of those pounds have sneaked back on and I'm planning on trying again in January 2017

I actually got the batis 85 at launch. Got the 85gm because the bokeh always sort of bugged me with the batis, but the rendering of the Batis kept me in this perpetual evaluation mode. The GM has done about 75% of my paid gigs so its a keeper, but I've always preferred the Batis rendering for everything outside of posed portraiture.

Since the rendering of the FE55 is basically the same as the Batis, and the FOV is very different from the RX1RII, I think the FE55 makes more sense for my personal kit and will likely add one again eventually. I'm thinking my kit for personal stuff will be the Loxia 21, FE55, and RX1rII. GM for paid stuff.

Yeah I don't mind the RX1RII being a bit wider than 35mm....makes it a tad easier to use casually. I mainly wanted to see how different the FE55 FOV was from the RX1RII.....there are times when the RX1RII feels too wide and brings a lot of distracting stuff into the frame. If you do get the RX1RII, a minor modification to the UWA adapter for the FE28 adapter works well with the RX1RII, so it adds a little more flexibility with a very minimal additional bulk.

Interesting, please elaborate :)

The B25 has became my B35. At first I thought I wouldn't get used to it being a 35mm guy but now having used it so much I'm actually wondering if I actually need a B35 (at the same time as really wanting it released). But want and need are two different things. One thing is for sure is that I will be trying it out if it is released

I need one wide lens for weddings, so far having FE 28mm and B85. Not very impressed by FE 28mm, but for the price it is great. 35mm and 85mm would be the combo needed , but I think 25mm and 85 also wouldn't be bad :)

What body are you using the FE28 on? I find it to be fine on the 6300 but it shines on the a7rii in terms of sharpness and IQ

I gave Affinity Photo 1.5 a go. it's only 40bucks. if I can do what I'm doing in PS, time to end my Adobe subscription. It's now cross platform. It opens the raw file of my RX100V. and it opens in 32-bit

Retouched using affinity. yes you can do whatever you can in Photoshop and more. The HDR tone mapping is awesome. It has built in frequency separation filter.
