Retouched using affinity. yes you can do whatever you can in Photoshop and more. The HDR tone mapping is awesome. It has built in frequency separation filter.

Built in frequency separation? Whoa. I need to check this out. Skin tones look really good here.

Since you've messed with a few and are a PP guru....which do you think is best for portrait touch ups...PS/LR, C1, or Affinity?

Post processing portraits takes a lot of work.....I have a constant backlog and want to speed up my processing time without taking anything away from the quality of the end product.

Interesting, please elaborate :)

There's a post with instructions on how to mod the adapter on FM:

http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1369103/4 (external link)

I haven't used it as much as I thought I would....but it works well from f2.8 and up from what I've seen:

I will make a faster way of retouching tutorial with same good quality result. I will use affinity in the tutorial but same can be applied in PS.

I have done it three times in my life...and always fail to keep it off...in college went from 225 to 150...before my daughter was born went from 225 to 195 with p90X...then last year went from nearly 240 to 200...but I keep seeing pictures of myself lately...and don't like it...and I want to be around for my kid as she gets older, so I have to get back on the horse...

wow good job!! I'm on my 3rd attempt and it isn't going well. it gets harder every time. the motivation just isn't there as it would the first time :(

Seems like it performs not as good with the adapter on. Making a few shots and stitching it together might be a better fit i guess. Well thanks for the link anyways and if i calculated correctly i will be able to afford it mid next year anyways. The good thing is, the longer i wait they only get cheaper

It's not a world beater and if shooting critically, you'd probably want to use a proper ILC with a wide angle lens. But good if you're in a pinch and need to go wide without lugging a second body around.

That for sure! I somehow especially like the idea of having the lens on the RX1RII. One that si always sharp, paired with a wonderful sensor.
