you know what's helped me, a whistle. Whenever my kids and I go to large places where they can get lost, we bring whistles, and not just run of the mill stuff, like life saving super screechers. I've got 4 kids to juggle now, and one of them bound to wander off
they have a whistle, I have a whistle, and we have an understanding on when to use it and what to do when lost. It's extremely loud, so I dont allow them to use it in general, only for emergencies.my daughter would use that on purpose...just because she wants to...having only one we have yet to have an issue where she gets lost...in fact, in public, she doesn't like it if she can't see us or lay a hand on us...she stays close by...which is good...

......I just dove head first into the Sony APS-c system. Honestly, I didn't research it too much. Prob should have looked into the Fuji system a little more. I think the a6500 is overpriced for what it is. I'm becoming more and more pleased with the images. End result is not the issue. Lens selection works for me for the most part. I'm just not totally stoked on the user experience. I personally think the LCD is a joke. It;s basically unless in brighter light and just not enough detail to critically examine images in playback. Too small. I'd also really love to be able to use the touchscreen to navigate the menu and scroll though/pinch zoom images while viewing. No doubt I'll get killed if I decide to switch thing up in the next year or so.
