What's the total wight with all these gear?

Not as much as you expect...The bag weighed in at 14 lbs. 2lbs of that is the 70-200gm, which I expected to leave in the room most days, but the weight was more manageable than I thought it would be. I was wearing my backpack more than I expected to.

The weight advantages of mirrorless systems are real even if they don't look much smaller or lighter on paper.

pretty sure any one can down load images from here but they are a pretty low res so i don't see any one stealing them and winning any events with a low res image, anything is possible though. people are pretty resourceful.

Gene Of the 4 images I uploaded to the mediafire link I provided, two were very hi-res images so I just wondered if they were downloadable from there. I am looking for a way of safely sharing full size images without subscription ;-)a

i would think links to sites that host full size res pics would be fair game but if u use the uploader here and don't use links to other sites the images here are not high res, most people post their images here that way, using links to other sites is just another step most people don't want to do to view an image for critique or otherwise,if u want to be safe i would post here using the uploader and a water mark. if u choose using a link then its not potn fault its the fault of your host site.

More practice with the Lox 21

https://www.mediafire.com/folder/foiy6ndkr8p6c/Loxia_21 (external link)

The lens flare one might horrify some but I tend to like it. I've called it "Heavenly Light". All four were taken in low/late afternoon winter golden sunlight. Two are full size and the other two are 2048px long edge.

TBH I've no idea if these are view only or if any old tom & dick can download them so I'd appreciate a heads up from the forum members on this as I've had issues in the past where people nicked images and one person won a competition with one despite the copyright being still embedded :-(

Link says private to me (can't see any pics)

Edit - never mind just saw your last post

On a side note I also don't ever click on external links. I done it there as you asked the question but normally if it's not posted here I skip past. Food for thought for you if you want your pics seen by more people

Agree with Eddie and everyone else on the topic of external links sharing images.

I received mine yesterday but returned it. It was the ash color. My wife persuaded me to get that color. She wanted to see it in person. Yeah it's too clean of a color.

I ordered the charcoal instead. Draw less attention with the sleek dark color over the ash (gray) color. I'll get it tomorrow.

Folks, I got the message about links loud and clear ;-)a

Yes I've posted images on here and know how small they have to be.

You've all no doubt gathered by now I was trying to show an image from the Loxia 21 not really to get a large audience rather I felt it might be helpful to share a full size image(s) just in this thread for members to check out. [only members of this forum got the link before I pulled it]

So here is one of images I mentioned suitably sized to fit the forum requirement in case anyone wondered what it was all about.

I forget everyone's lens lineups but is anyone here using the zony 16-35 in addition to a batis 18/25 or loxia 21?

So it looks like you've got some glare, but not really any ghosting. It looks like a giant sunstar, but there's not really a loss of contrast anywhere else in the frame.

Oh yeah the ash is kind of gaudy to me. The charcoal is much more subdued. It looks like a nice, but not too special, backpack.

I just brought the Sigma MC11 adapter for my Canon lenses and I reckon it is a lot faster focusing with my 24-105 f4L and 70-200 f4L

I was previously using the Fotga adapter. The only issue I had with this, was using Smooth Reflections app I couldn't shoot anymore than 16 shots. I would just get a corrupted file. I've just tried the Sigma, and shot 96 with no problem.

It now opens up the Sigma range of lenses with most of the native functions to me :)
