More Maui stuff. Landscapes this time. Really been digging the skinnier aspect ratios for landscapes these days. Doing a lot of 4x2 or 16x9.

FE 24-70/4 for both.

^ Brings back good memories Nadim.

Anyone use the MyGearVault app by Jared Polin? It's free. I started to use it to document my gear for insurance purposes. One other nice feature is you can create kits and add gear to a specific kit. For example, a travel kit showing your cameras, lenses, and accessories that you would bring with you on a trip. Another kit could be a lightweight day hike kit or subject specific kit like portrait, street, or landscape.

You can add serial numbers and other pertinent info to document your gear including purchase date and cost. The app will total up the cost of all your gear. I'd hate to see the total value.

Thanks. Spoke to seller and it was a mistake. He is posting it out to me

Oh, Eddie, why? I'm upset. She knows in this photo. Is Callum not wondering where she is?:cry::cry:

She does look sad here, I wonder if she could tell. She is a very attention needing cat and tries to sit on top of you every single time you sit down. We could no longer give her the attention she craved so a family member who has always had cats has taken her instead and she looks to have settled in nicely. We still have the other cat Diego who has a different nature. Sounds harsh but we didn't want Callum growing up seeing us pushing Ellie away all the time. In the end Callum was getting a bit scared of her as she accidently scratched him a couple of times trying to sit on him for attention. She is the most gentle cat ever so was definitely not intentional

OK, Eddie, I'll let you off the hook!! My old cat is the same and he sometimes drives me nuts especially when I'm trying to work. I remember when Diego went missing - he was gone quite some time if I remember. Hope you'll keep posting phots of him.

Thy have both been missing before but Diego the longest. We will still get to see Ellie from time to time but the person she is now living with is retired so she will be getting full attention which we thought was better

Last before and after of Hannah

Processed manually. no presets, no actions and no plugins.

Those moments when you're wrapping up, walking back to the car and then wait wait wait it looks good here, can we do one shot here? Boom! Sometimes those turns out the best. I don't know about this but I like it.

^FE 50mm 1.8 looking good!

I caught this a little late.......Those shots were taken with the Sony "E" 50 1.8, not the "FE". Different lens. Mine is the APS-c only lens. I have read the FE 50 is not so great. I'm really impressed with the "E" 50. That said, I may be switching it out for the FE 55 sometime in the future.

Thanks for correcting...I'm pretty clueless about the APS-C lenses. I do know the FE 55mm well: excellent lens. :)

Yeah, but I don't like it. Don't know why Optics Pro is so bad at adjusting highlights/shadows...it just doesn't work as well as C1 or LR for recovering and getting the histogram in good shape without wrecking the image quality. It's got a lot of really cool tools, but I dislike the tonal editing so much that I'm done with that software.

The prime noise reduction is great, but not quite as awesome as they market it.

Thanks David. I'll skip it then. Interesting that they are making it available for free. New version is coming out.
