Wow, it sure has been quiet this morning. Everyone must have bought all the gear they could ever want now!!

Here's a before/after edit on a photo I took of a friend yesterday. She wanted me to push it even further.

Nice edit Gene, well executed. I find it odd why people want photos that are so far different from reality though but each to their own. I don't mean to cause offence by that so hopefully I haven't

Thanks Eddie. I was surprised that she wanted me to make her look even thinner. I think it's one thing to enhance one's natural look but quite another to change someone's appearance altogether.

It was a challenge to keep the lines straight in the background while making her appear thinner but hopefully, I did OK.

After buying the Sigma MC11 adapter last week and being very happy with its performance I put on my Canon nifty fifty, just the cheap plastic mkii f1.8 one, but it works an absolute treat. My old Fotga adapter wouldn't have a bar of it and was totally unusable.

Nice to have an auto focus 50mm thats working great.

That sigma 85 makes the Sony 85 GM look tiny.

Oh really? not good. the GM has 11-rounded blades so my guess is the 85GM is still the 85's bokeh king.

Maybe some day lol..
Recent video project i did.. learned alot..but the biggest lesson.. 1. Theres very little room for error with WB in video. 2.old street lights make setting proper WB Very difficult (atleast for a noob like me)

Have another project coming soon... making sure i go to location before shoot day to gave all settings down

Old Street lights require below 2000K which the camera doesn't support.

Maybe a filter is needed to counter, maybe blue?

Yes found out the camera doesnt support the hard way..
The scene shown in pic was actually the better lit scene , shooting under the florescent seemed like paradise ..
Majority of shoot was in a narrow alley way in chinatown.. very cool looking but old street lights.. soon as i saw it in my head i said "daamnnn.. wtf".. i did what i could..ended up using a super blue Lut and then adjusted saturation of certain colors etc.. came out not too bad considering everything started off super orange/yellow color3d..
Ended up looking kinda gritty ,, and so i presented it as " i decided to go with this real gritty fim look because i thought it fit the enviroment "..

So yes i think you are correct.. some sort of blue filter
. Will look into that to be bettter prepared for any surprises in the future

Here's my new Sony action cam that I just purchased. I got the version with the separate remote control which has worked great! I like the fact that this camera has optical image stabilization, even when shooting in 4K and will shoot up to 120 fps in 1080P at 100mbps.

In this image, I have it mounted on a tabletop tripod that doubles as a grip.
