What i love about the liveview remote also is if you turn it on, the camera will turn on too and sync automatically.

Here's my new Sony action cam that I just purchased. I got the version with the separate remote control which has worked great! I like the fact that this camera has optical image stabilization, even when shooting in 4K and will shoot up to 120 fps in 1080P at 100mbps.

In this image, I have it mounted on a tabletop tripod that doubles as a grip.

Anyone else looking into 360 degree photos? Provided you have the right type of scenery, it can be really interesting...particularly with a VR headset, but also on a phone where the view in your image changes with the position of the phone. I'd like to experiment with creating some. It seems the Laowa 12 would work well.

I've been meaning to take a 360 pano for absolutely ages but so that I can make one of those planet type panos in post. Not sure what you call them

Oh yeah those mini planet photos are cool.

I'm talking VR type photos though, where you can use a VR headset or phone to 'look around' in the image as if you're in the center of the scene. I've been messing with it again since I picked up a google daydream head-set and really like the concept. 360 video is cool too, but there's something about being able to really gaze into a static 360 image and soak up all the details in the scene.

The effect is called "Tiny Planet". Here's a quick example I tried with one of Eddie's pano's. The effect would be more extreme if a skyline was used for example. I'll place the link where I found the short tutorial on how to do this too.

It works better with 360 degree panos as the end points match but yeah that's the idea

Nothing like a hot bowl of Ramen noodles on a cold windy afternoon watching the Super Bowl.
