It was in my pocket (which I never do!) and I had the voigtlander 15 on the camera on a shoulder strap. Managed to somehow bump into a wall and now the lens has a little indent on the metal just below the blue mount seal. Hopefully its not done anything inside, will test tomorrow oh man, that sucks...hope it didn't affect the lens more than cosmetically. Website

My Houston photo shoot last night almost didn't happen...every place I had looked up to shoot, that Carlo recommended, that my friend knew of...they were all swarmed by festivals, tent shows and street fairs...it was insane...we drove around for 2 hours and each spot was just impossible...ended up going back out to Sugar Land to a park...we made it work. The 85GM will make it into my bag...wow...what an awesome portrait lens. I did a set with my Uncle that has Cancer, shot him with his 1947 International Truck and of course his dog. Good times. Oh wow Travis. Glad you made it work. It was nuts when I went due to Spring Break and it being a Saturday. - Alfredo -

Travis, had I known this was the weekend you were here I would have let you borrow the 85GM....you probably could have picked it up for me since I didn't have time to pick it up from UPS when Alfredo shipped it back lol. focalpointsphoto.com

Yeah this weekend was the closing weekend of the rodeo...so lots of festivities this weekend. I actually live in the sugar land area and use the parks around here for a lot of my shoots. yeah, it was a little busy, but it was the only chance I could make it work...appreciate the offer. I was using the 85 on my side trip to Austin too, so no worries. We blasted into Houston late Thursday and headed for the hill country. mystik610 wrote in post #18312751 Nice! Thanks! Website

Mar 27, 2017 20:18 | #31557 the 85GM is probably my favorite 85 of all time, however, it's lower on list of priorities. I have to get a lightweight 85 to pair with my 35, and I would love my lightweight 35 to be a 35 f2..... after that is fullfilled, I think it's open season for me, any lens I get on a whim is fine regardless of size. Sony A7siii/A7iv/ZV-1 - FE 24/1.4 - SY 24/2.8 - FE 35/2.8 - FE 50/1.8 - FE 85/1.8 - F 600/5.6 - CZ 100-300 - Tamron 17-28/2.8 - 28-75/2.8 - 28-200 RXD

Much like David has a landscape bag or a small prime setup...I have a portrait setup bag, and the 85 would live in that. I did use the little CV12 for a shot too...turned out kinda cool. Less distortion than I expected. Website
