Very nice! Did you see that Raya Pro 2.0 was released in February? I don't recall getting the email notice. Also, Jimmy is releasing a new panel in a few weeks which looks very similar to Lumenzia.

I did see that. Downloaded back in Feb, but still haven't installed it. Lumenzia's really got me hooked. That was updated the same week Raya was if I recall correctly.

I think you're right. I use Lumenzia primarily too. I still need to watch Greg's new videos on some of the new features. I'm not planning to upgrade my TKActions panel to version 5. I don't use it enough to justify the cost to upgrade.

BTW, been looking at the zhyun crane, lol, shouldnt have done that. Didnt know those electronic gimbals are so good now. I had a counterweight style balancer in the past, was so heavy and balancing very quirky.

And the Zhiyun's well-priced too. TBH, I would prefer to get the small one and use a small camera like an RX100, but that would get too expensive for me, so just decided to go with the gimbal that supports the a7R II.

I've seen a lot of super-smooth footage from bike-mounted gimbals, even on rough mountain bike trails, so I mounted the Zhiyun Crane to my bike. Didn't work. My footage was way too jarring from every little bump in the road. Not sure what the secret is. GoPros are easier to stabilize?

Got another good news for the LX100

Canon compatible Yongnuo 568EX + YN-603C II works with off camera flash. just tested now 10/10 pops. perfect no miss.

With the Canon 430EXII on camera HSS is even working.

testing this setup with a pinup shot on small planes today in a couple of hours.

I think the secret is having the camera mounted on you rather than the bike. That's one reason why I was interested in the Karma drone + gimbal. The gimbal is designed to be worn by the person which I think give better results than being mounted on the bike.

I'm not sure how that can be done with the crane gimbal you have.

Hey guys. Quick question. I'm still on firmware 3.00. Is there any reason I should update to the current firmware 3.30. I know sometimes people wish they never upgraded because the new firmware can sometimes introduce new problems. Just wondering what everyone is using and if I should upgrade or not. I know some of the firmware helps with the newer cameras for focusing but wasn't sure if anyone has experienced any issues.

Also, I recently added a few apps from the Sony Store which is my reason for asking about the firmware. I purchased the Smooth reflections app (no issues) and also went to download Time-lapse app (and it said I needed to upgrade my firmware). Are there any other apps you guys would recommend? Sky HDR...don't know if that would be worth it since I can just bracket shots and blend them in photoshop. Just curious.

I've got the A7RII

I never encountered an issue with mine so i guess it's safe to update.

Yeah, I've got a whole lot of discovery, learning, and practice to do before I'll be ready to upload any videos. :)

I have gone back to the TK Actions panel after watching the Sean Bagshaw tutorials and I am liking it more and more now that I understand it more.

Editing back to back images, one from the CV12 and one from the B18...as nice as the CV12 is...the sharpness and detail in the B18 is far superior...if Zeiss came out with a 12 or 14...my wallet would be lighter...

#1 is the CV12, cropped the bottom to eliminate some floor.
#2 is the B18, cropped again to lose some floor, I was really trying to watch for keeping the camera level with no back to front pitch to avoid perspective issues with all the windows...

the CV 10 is reportedly worse, however, I do love it, the FOV cant be done correctly with stitching. DOF is nearly unlimited as well.

on note of the b18, definitely considering that lens vs 16-35, still havent decided

I wont be getting rid of the CV12...I can compensate in post for the original sharpness...its just too cool of a perspective.

I have settled on primes for some reason...I have not used the 17-40 or 24-70 since aquiring the Batis pair...
