Oh yeah I have no issue with 20fps and of course I can turn the frame rate down..Just not going to pay a $1,500 premium for a feature I'm not going to use.
Personally, I don't see the 20fps as the only upgraded feature of that body. I'd like to think (all conjecture at this point) that the weather sealing has been upgraded: we've seen that the ergonomics have been improved (the A7 ergos are atrocious), the AF system has been greatly improved, the battery life has been significantly improved, it can now hold two memory cards, it has a stupid fast shutter speed, silent shutter action has been improved, it clears the buffer much faster (supposedly allowing instant access to the card after shooting), no EVF blackout, faster EVF refresh rate, the resolution is right in the sweet spot for event and retail portrait shooting, etc. If you don't feel that any of those things are a worthwhile upgrade over the A7 then that's your prerogative. Personally, I can easily see serious amateurs as well as professional wedding, event, and retail portrait shooters picking up this camera as a do-it-all body. If I didn't already have a body that fits that bill I'd consider it myself. If they release an A9r I may very well make the full jump to Sony.
