Puckman- sorry so late; just woke up.
I used the Sony 70-400g2. Distance approx 10 feet, big crop of course 1:1 in LR. Used the Nissin i40. Bird and feeder
in deep shade. Hope that helps.

I dont think it works, the 135 is not an SSM lens, which is needed for AF with the LA-EA3. Sony A7siii/A7iv/ZV-1 - FE 24/1.4 - SY 24/2.8 - FE 35/2.8 - FE 50/1.8 - FE 85/1.8 - F 600/5.6 - CZ 100-300 - Tamron 17-28/2.8 - 28-75/2.8 - 28-200 RXD

Charlie Guess What! I'm Pregnant! More info Post edited over 8 years ago by Charlie. | sony really needs to have screw drive support with the LA-EA3, would really love to shoot the 135/1.8, but you pay that much for AF, I would want it to AF as well. Aside from that, I would like experimenting with some other sony/minolta lenses. The "beercan" I'm playing with is optically pretty good, more than older zooms I've tried. "I have it with the LAE4. Focus is slower than I'd like it, pretty good if it doesn't have to hunt too far. Fairly accurate but not perfect. IQ is very good. This lens really needs to be redesigned as the AF is outdated. It's too heavy, too big, and too expensive to not perform better." Rod Lindley I agree with everything above.....but the optics are phenomenal. IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/v4AjSn focalpointsphoto.com

Aug 31, 2015 18:49 | #4690 I have a whole bunch of generic, Amazon-bought, FD to NEX adapters. They all work fine, since there's no electronics to worry about and the FD mount is pretty straightforward (albeit a very weird design if I ever saw one). Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

I use Fotasy labeled adapters. They are from amazon as well. Best fit and work on Tough mount and A7ii. Not all adapters will work with the tough mount due to varying tolerances. It's light and it performs, even with TCs. So what if I have to use manual focus for best results on the Sonys--it's the results that count. Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
