I use mine wirhout focussing. F/8 or f/11 snf prefocus on 1m and im set
So basically, you turn your a7r/a7s into a Brownie box camera.

Was out and about today with the family and must have left the camera on in the bag. Then arrived at our holiday cottage just as the sky was turning a nice purple. In a rush I swapped camera bags and descended the 200 steps to the beach below.
