vinmunoz Cream of the Crop More info | Sep 20, 2015 16:12 | #6041 Guys when I shoot the milkyway yesterday, I was guessing focus. My plan was to over bump the ISO first just to nail focus then bring it down after achieving focus. The problem was the LCD stays dark, no matter how i changed settings it doesn't work.. I tried to turn of liveview display so it will act like optical viewfinder, it's not working. The lens use was manual, the Canon FD20mm F2.8 | SONY A7SIII(2) | A73 | A6000 | Sony A7IV | Sigma105 | FE1635F4 | Tamron 70-180mm F2.8 | Tamron 17-28 Tamron 28-75 | FE50F1.8 | Sony 16035F4PZ | SEL30mm F3.5 Macro | Canon 24mm TSE | Laowa 15mm Shift

I'm no where near needing a a7r2 but the a7 ii is up my alley. I know how well ibis works with older glass on my em 5. I jumped the gun on the a7 I have now. I should have waited. I heard the a7 ii was on is way to be released and I bought a used a7 any ways. OLYMPUS EM1 M2. 12-100 F4 PRO.75mm f1.8,fisheye f1.8 pro. SONY A7 various manual lenses. FUJI X100

I had this problem as well. Ended up googling something and found a setting to change the whole thing. There is like an "EVF/Monitor view for what it will look like" setting somewhere. #jcovellphoto

I have Minolta Glass konica glass nikon glass canon glass olympus glass and m42 glass for my sony. Old glass can be so good and so cheap. I can't remember when I used a auto focus lens. Even on my em5 I use manual glass only. I've learned a lot. Auto focus can make u lazy. All my lenses are prime so I feel it makes you think more. I know all too well! This is my third mirrorless but first full frame. What a difference. Thanks for the warm welcome and tips everyone. Looking forwards to contributing. - Alex Corona Sony A7, Canon 7DM2/EOS M, Mamiya 645/67

I know before on my A7R, i will just turn off the liveview display and it acts like an OVF. | SONY A7SIII(2) | A73 | A6000 | Sony A7IV | Sigma105 | FE1635F4 | Tamron 70-180mm F2.8 | Tamron 17-28 Tamron 28-75 | FE50F1.8 | Sony 16035F4PZ | SEL30mm F3.5 Macro | Canon 24mm TSE | Laowa 15mm Shift
