IQ is definitely not a clean as the haida 10 stop, however, 16 stops is a ton of filtration, 5 minutes @ F8 iso 100. Did you take these 5 minut long exposures with the mark II? Would you be able to upload untreated RAW file? I'd like to pixel peep..

I couldn't see any hot pixels at all! Is that normal? There is too much negative feedback on this around. Looks like no issue for me..

Haven't looked at the raw so not sure what the settings were but at iso 100 its not an issue. With LENR on its not an issue. At high iso with LENR off it can be an issue. At high iso with LENR on its not an issue

So many 'issues' with the Rii I think are generated by CFB's (canon fan boys). But some are real like not being able to assign Crop Mode to a function button-that is still killing me since I use it all the time....
I've already done astro with the Rii and hot pixels were not an issue--but then again we imaged quickly and got what I thought were great results though I did use uncompressed raw and found out it would have taken hours and hours to stack.

A couple from yesterday, second one using a Canon Close Focus adapter on the Sony 70-400g2
