I hate to say it but I am really getting some GAS looking at the Leica Q and the RX1RII. Anyone else feel the same way?

It won't be long and your gear list will wrap to the next line...and that's when viewed on my 27" 2560 x 1440 screen.

Yes. I need to stop thinking about the RX1RII and/or used RX1's flooding the market.

You guys should get a Fuji, it'll scratch that itch... did for me anyway :)

Hi Dean...I have two Drobos and like them very well.

A bit more detail perhaps? How do you use them? What configuration do you have them set up? You ever have any reliability issues?
Also are you connecting them via USB 3, Thunderbolt or Firewire?

Stay away from FM. Their Leica crowd is pretty active and it's how I ended up wanting to put RF lenses on my A7RII. The size of those lenses is killer. But then again, so are their prices. All those "crons" and "Lux" are droolworthy in their own ways.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

I have a Drobo S (current model is 5D) and the network based Drobo 5N. The "S" is direct-attached via USB 3. Never had a problem in several years use. The "S" is my primary, while the 5N is a redundant backup. I use WD red drives in the Drobos.

Weird experience today. Drove over to the Flint River today and on the way stopped at Thomaston, GA to photograph their nice courthouse building. Just as I walked up there were a couple of felons being led away to jail by the police. Weird feeling. So, a rare bit of photo-journalism by me. :)

Thanks!

I'm having a lot of these freaky time-warp "wtf century is this?" moments since I moved. ;)

In Saginaw, Michigan the convicts used to wear orange jumpsuits. Apparently criminals are held in high regard in the city and the kids started wearing orange jumpsuits. The county then went with the striped uniforms.

I like those last 2, David. What are you using for 16 ND stops?
