Glad to hear she's ok.

This act of terrorism is something I'm gonna be sick of for weeks/months, just like at the beginning of the year.

Another thing which freaked me out a little bit is the following situation. My mother normally always goes shopping for food on Saturday. This time she decided to go shopping one day earlier (on Friday). I asked her if she knew which date it was and I quickly said: it's Friday the 13th, bad things happen on this day, so be careful on the road to the store. She had a quick laugh.

Four/five hours later the news about the Paris shooting was seen on TV...

Yeah, we always think bad things dont happen where we are. My girlfriend ran home and people were laughing at her making jokes because she was running. Those are the people most likely staying there...

Thanks, I love it here! I had to drive down to Columbus, GA to a Best Buy to pick up a wireless adapter (to replace the one I loaned out) and on my way back just took a few minutes to pull off onto this dirt road to explore a wildlife management area. Didn't get far as the hunters were out blasting their shotguns "managing wildlfe" and I wanted to avoid them to pulling a Dick Cheney on me. :D But, I did get far enough in to take this quickie 3-exposure hdr of the pine trees.

Jupiter 8 rangefinder lens, 50mm 2.0 wide open.
This lens is a soviet clone of a Zeiss Sonnar.

For the clothes pin shot I unscrewed the lens halfways to lower the MFD. (Standard is 0.7m I think, this was around .4)

The Pentax 200 looks softer wide open compared to the 135. Would this be the correct impression?
