Speaking of portraits and sharpness. The FE 90 is just about the sharpest lens I've ever shot. And combined with Face detection and Eye AF. It makes for the perfect portrait platform.

Some shots from my improvised home studio, with my sister and niece and nephew, visiting yesterday.

I couldn't agree more...

For portrait with small kids, I would go with the FE90. Outdoor and adult, I would go with the Samyang 135 or the 200F2.5... I'm a bokeh lover....

You don't need the RX1R II when you get results like this!

Help..... How do I shoot a full moon and not get it to look like the sun..... multiple exposures???? By the time I take them the moon is moving... gah should have practiced this sometime over the last 4 years

They say the best cure for GAS is to shoot. The downside is that the FE 35 1.4 is a rather large lens, but I like it a lot would have a hard time giving it up for the RX1.

Well, well, well. I remember you saying that bokeh wasn't that important, it was all about sharpness (that was months ago when you decided to go for the FE 90mm). I'm glad you finally came to your senses.
