Speaking of portraits and sharpness. The FE 90 is just about the sharpest lens I've ever shot. And combined with Face detection and Eye AF. It makes for the perfect portrait platform.

Some shots from my improvised home studio, with my sister and niece and nephew, visiting yesterday.

I couldn't agree more...

For portrait with small kids, I would go with the FE90. Outdoor and adult, I would go with the Samyang 135 or the 200F2.5... I'm a bokeh lover....

They say the best cure for GAS is to shoot. The downside is that the FE 35 1.4 is a rather large lens, but I like it a lot would have a hard time giving it up for the RX1.

Well, well, well. I remember you saying that bokeh wasn't that important, it was all about sharpness (that was months ago when you decided to go for the FE 90mm). I'm glad you finally came to your senses.

hahahaha i know right? my FE90 will stay for sure for those little kids and macro stuff... but for the adults, man i'm still bokeh crazy. But what really impresses me with the SY135 is, it's sharper than the 135L and almost no CA. and with the 9 rounded aperture blades, it's sure has better bokeh than the Pentax... it's just more expensive. Plus I was helping my wife who keep asking what gift do I want for my birthday... I was being nice to her. lol

jocau just shutup....hahahaha :) :p lol on top of that, you know most of us has GAS addiction...
