So for a shot like that, at 200, you had t be about 50 feet away?

I think so which i don't mind as long as there's no small kids. Heck meg bitton and lisa holloway both use 200mm f2.

The subject isolation is really nice in this shot Vinz, may be a little over saturated for my taste but it seams to work well here.

The 200mm focal length is a big hole in my lens selection, it has always been and I've considered a number of potential solutions. Whille I was shooting Canon I was seriously looking at the 200 F2, when I moved over to the Sony platform I gave up on that ideal so I'm still looking for a fast 200 for this type of work. A couple of current considerations are the Nikon Ai-s MF 200 F2 ED, it's reasonably priced as well as the Contaxt Carl Zeiss 200 F2 APOSONNAR. The Aposonnar is very rare and is considerable more expensive than the Nikon. I had a chance to use one years ago and the output was absolutely beautiful, I've been looking for a cheaper alternative ever since.

Fantastic fall shot Vinz!

I just picked up a very nice copy of a 35mm f/2.4 Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon. Just waiting now for the adaptor to get here.

Just realized it's been a while since I've posted some shots in here... been using the Fuji a lot for convenience lately.

A couple of shots of my sister's boyfriend playing for us on Thanksgiving, he's seriously good.
