Me included. The 11-24 is super cool, but the 16-35mm is mostly wide for me, and I am thinking I need to retreat back to having a max-image-quality wide lens for landscapes. The TS-E 24 II used to be that lens, but I didn't love its performance on the a7 series. The Loxia 21mm is another compelling idea, but the Batis has some key advantages: AF, f/2, lighter, less distortion. So the Batis could be my go to lens for landscapes where IQ is paramount. You guys miss me? It's been a while, hehe. Sure! Always happy to see your posts. David | Flickr

This version ![]() or this ![]() #2 for me, the dark section lower right and the clutter upper right take away from the clear subject in the image, the second focuses the attention. Website

I have noticed that the 11-24 has a ton of distortion on the edges when fully zoomed out...my 17-40L that costs a fraction of that lens is sharper on the corners... Website

And can you expand on that sentiment about the TSE24II...it is next on my list to aquire...just curious about why it doesn't pair well with the A7x? Sony A7RII | Sony A7S

I dunno...he said he didn't love its performance on the A7 series...so I wanted to know why...the TSE24II is one of the best lenses I have ever used, its a great piece of kit...maybe I just need to rent it again and see how it works for myself... I could be wrong but I thought David's issues were with the adapter and light leaks when using the tilt/shift of that lens. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||
