I'm just a Meat and Potato kind of guy.

No sous vide cooking today. Just grilled flank steak stuffed with slices of garlic and baked potato smothered in butter. I think I need to mix things up a bit. For New Years, it's traditional in my family to make big pot of chili. Maybe I'll get a couple of photos of that.

Me too! Just leave off the potato and double the meat!

Posting up, nothing special, but first time for me
1. playing with the smooth reflections app (obviously dont have a grasp yet)
2. using the 28mm
3. using the wide angle adapter
I don't know if I like the picture but I like the overall package as far as size/weight/portabilit​y
and speed at 21mm. Sharp enough? I'd like to think I could do widefield astro with the combo
and if space in the luggage mattered it would do-otherwise I'd use my Rokinon 14mm e-mount.

As far as the smooth reflections app it freaked me that in the 'smoothing' menu, if you choose high
it can take an insanely large number of images (something like 128 raw's) and combine them (I assume
median masking) in camera. So I've barely opened the door into this genre, and honestly its not my
cup of tea-

Who wishes to have mediumRAW format? you know on things like receptions on weddings, we don't need high resolution on those. if there's a mediumRaw, it could save us time in editing and HD space.

would love medium and small raw. Is it possible to apply on import to a dng? That would solve it mostly, however, it wouldnt hurt to have a smaller raw in favor of larger buffer and quicker to review images.

How funny, just seconds ago I purchased DXO Optics 10.
I don't know about adding ViewPoint 2, I just don't do much architecture.
Does it apply to other genres?

The trip was mostly birding but did take the 28/F2, not DTBaan level, and the first pier I've been around in a long time, so gave it a shot, actually
