you have convinced me with the last couple shot from there... I need to check that place out this spring.

Thanks! Wish I could say it's awesome always, but it's probably just cool from all the rain we've been having lately. All that water is running over a dam from a lake just behind my frame (about 400 yards back). That lake is one of those dumpy little lakes with houses all around it.

Anyone have experience shooting infrared? Has anyone modified an older camera? I've been seriously considering it after seeing a few YouTube tutorials on the subject. Would you consider infrared photography a fad? I may get my a7R modified but not sure. Sounds like you can start with a screw on filter to see if you like this type of photography.

I want to shoot IR. I dont think it is a fad I think that for me pics of petroglyphs it might reveal more detail or subject and for flowers and landscape it will have a place.

am considering having the A6000 converted.

Towards the end of my film shoots, I was shooting infrared for that reason. It brought out more detail in the objects.

Thank you for the feedback guys in IR. I'll find another camera body to mod then. I also have an a6000.

Happy New Years to everyone. Just got done watching Star Wars with no crowds. Awesome movie!

Happy New Year to all my POTN friends!

Staying home tonight. Taking it easy and going over the pics from the recent trip.

While I do that, here's something fun...

Happy New Year All!
My back porch and back yard as seen through a Zeiss 15mm f2.8 lens, Voightlander VME adapter, Sony A7II and DxO 10 software, corrected to French tastes.

Cool! Interested to see more of this lens. Do you have the CV15 v3 to compare it with?
