Within that link, there are various intervalometer models available from the same manufacturer for various camera manufacturers and models; the updated version for Sony is the option to the far right. Different interface and controls, this is the one with on-off switch. The one you refer to is shaped like the Canon intervalometer TC-80-N3, and does not have the on-off, as noted in the most useful review.
