What software do you use for focus stacking? You're on a Mac, if memory serves.
And how are you able to shoot multiple shots of this flower without it moving (from ambient wind or what have you).
I've yet to try my hand at focus stacking.

Eddie xpfloyd lookalike More info | Feb 17, 2016 02:23 | #13099 Found a small annoyance with the a7rii. If you are in AF-C and attach a manual lens you can't switch to AF-S and therefore can't focus magnify. Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

I've read a lot about the sigma's sharpness, but have also heard its bokeh isn't all that great. Any Thoughts on that? Why dont you try out the new techart adapter with AF support for M mount lenses? Its surely not a perfect solution but AF seems to be reasonably fast, and as this lens anyways appeals to you why not try it out? These days we should take advantage of te cool new techs out there Sony A7RII | Sony A7S

Correct. If you are in AF-C with a native lens or an adapted AF lens you cannot switch it to AF-S after you attach a manual lens (and therefore can't focus magnify) Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

I first attached my FE90 and switched it to AF-C. removed it and attached my Canon FD20mm S.S.C.... i didn't have to change my AF type because it automatically detect an all manual lens. tried the focus magnify and it works. Did you meant when you use your TSE 24 II with a metabone? it won't switch to AF-S? Yes. When I had my tse attached with metabones it was still in AF-S but it was greyed out and I couldn't change it. I then tried to focus magnify and it said you can't in that mode Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

Feb 17, 2016 05:51 | #13109 Eddie, maybe try unmounting the lens from the metabones adapter with the adapter attached to the camera. Then reattach. Do this with the camera off. I've had similar issues with my canon 16-35. xpfloyd wrote in post #17901612 Yes. When I had my tse attached with metabones it was still in AF-S but it was greyed out and I couldn't change it. I then tried to focus magnify and it said you can't in that mode Ill check again tonight when I'm home with some of my other manual lenses I wonder if its because the TSE lens still has electronic contacts for aperture control? It might think its not a manual lens and not auto switch to AF-C - Alfredo -
