Well, I certainly can't come up with better examples from the Sig 35 wide open than Vinz or Eddie has so I'll just add that when shooting wide open, CA can be pretty strong but is easily managed in PS, especially when the lens profile is used.

What the heck, I'll post my example too since mine was shot using the a7rII + Sigma 35.

My wish for the next Sony body.

- AF joystick. Eye AF is great and all but needing to pick your own AF point is an exercise in frustration.
- Dual card slots. Makes mobile workflow easier to be able to shoot raw to one and jpeg to the other.
- Much better buffer (deeper/faster clear). Waiting 8-10 seconds for buffer to clear after taking a string of shots is crazy. Even taking a single shot and if you want to check it right away, the momentary lockup is annoying.
- Utilize UHS-II if they're going to stick with SD cards. How Sony still uses UHS-I is confusing to me, especially when you're moving that much data. This will help with the buffer issue.
- Use the Olympus method of mode dial lock. Like a pen, click down to lock, click up to unlock. I don't know anyone who asked for a locking mode dial on the a7rII, but it was one of my biggest annoyances.
- Touch screen. Not so much for touch focus, but for image review, scrolling, etc.
- Better processor. As nice as the a7rII is, it's still a little bit slow in operation.

And maybe put out an a5, take the guts of the a7II but in a NEX-7 type body with a corner EVF.

Also if they can decide on a lens design. Having a cheaper looking design with no AF/MF switches (28/55, etc), having aperture rings (35 1.4/85), having a pull back focus (90 Macro), and combine that with the Loxia and Batis designs. I like that for the most part Fuji lenses all pretty much all uniform.

That^^ Its kind of strange when you own 3 lenses of the same brand (16-35, 90, and 28) and each one has a different design... The 28 has no switches, the 16-35 has kind of another finish style, the fe90 has switches for everything plus the push pull design. If i would own the 35 1.4 it would be even more different

Man, I just updated to V4.0 firmware on my X-E2 today and I'm blown away by how much Fuji changed, it's like a new camera! I really wish Sony would show that kind of support to the a7 line... not that I'm not happy with my a7S, but it'd be nice if they added stuff like being able to set your minimum SS with auto ISO, higher electronic max SS, being able to map a toggle for silent shutter onto one of the buttons (something I can now do with my Fuji, and it's a feature it didn't even have before!), etc.

My buddy like's my Fuji too

Fuji really is unique in that respect, I wish all companies did that.

So it seems the difference between G-Master and Zeiss is in the rendering.......Bokeh vs Contrast

For my style, I personally favor contrast. Love the zeiss 3D rendering. Totally subjective of course.

To a point. Post processing can enhance the inherent characteristics of a lens, but it can't change them.

just picked up a viltrox11 adapter for my eos lenses for the sony a7. i have a comlite adapter also. the comlite was ok,very slow even in good light and not very accurate,i wasn't very happy with that purchase but i waited to long to return so its stuck on a canon lens for life now and ill use it occasionally, the viltrox is another story, wow very fast focus on my 70-200f4 and is works great,it also shows steady shot is activated which the comlite didn't,the viltrox focuses on my very versatile and i thought was the best lens made when i got it haha 18-200 in apc mode,i am happy to say it works fast and accurate even in poor light with all my canon lenses,i am very happy with this 100$ whoohoo. just thought i would share in case any one wondering of a cheap alternative on the original mark 1 series a7 for canon lenses

I bet I convinced you when I told that the Samyang FE 135mm F/2 would fit in it. My guess is that your models are gonna say:

"Wow, that's a nice bag, I like it a lot."

Any of you landscape guys use a geared head? Been considering a manfrotto junior geared head or one of the bigger manfrottos but unsure on it. Reports say there is still a bit of play in it. Also its not arca swiss so would need adapted to suit my L bracket (which is straight forward enough).

There are more expensive options that go up to £1000 but there's no way I'm paying that. Anyone have any experience of geared heads? (I currently use a ballhead)

Congrats! I'm loving my peak design messenger bag. Great everyday bag that's stylish but very functional.
