I might have if I saw it! Honestly, I can see myself selling mine when the 70-200 is released. I just needed something to hold me over. And I'm gonna play with macro a little bit.

Gonna put this bad boy into action tonight! :)

It's one of my favorite lenses, for either macro...

That is one cool looking spider. I'd love to find one of those around. Was that just something you came across around your house or something?

now that I have the Sigma 150-600 sport, i'm looking for a sturdier tripod, with a gimbal head... something on a budget...

what would you recommend.

The monfrotto 393 gets the job done on a budget for a gimbal. I have one and it's built like a tank and cheap, but heavy and uses its own gigantic plate.

As for the tripod question, you might try to find an older gitzo for sale if you don't mind the weight. That induro looks like a great "bang for your buck" as well.

My neighbor spotted this jumping spider in his garden and so I grabbed my camera. The wood is one of the shelves of my neighbor's BBQ that he put him on. This is the first one I've noticed but gardening isn't a hobby of mine so I'm not surprised.

Thank you for posting this. I consider POTN and this thread an place for learning and not a place always for posting up the best.
Seriously, who are we trying to impress? It's a great lesson for us Eddie. I mean we're all good in our own individual ways so why
not post up more 'failures' we can learn and laugh with ????

I like jumping spiders, every year I see them living on walls of the house, garage. a lot of jumping spider species like to hang around buildings and man made objects.

None of the ones living near me are colorful, usually just gray, or beige in color.

I'm pretty tempted by your FE 55mm Vinz... but I have to admit I'm more tempted by Fuji lenses lately than I am by Sony's offerings -?

I do love my FE 28mm though...

More from the car show, this guy was as still as a sculpture for at least 10 minutes... really good at his job.

They are pretty cool little creatures. The one I photographed is a Phiddipus adumbratus (external link). If you click on that link, you can even view a couple of videos of them.

I'm tempted by vinz FE 55 too. I haven't purchased any new gear in months, but I'd been eyeing the sigma 35 art. Now I'm not so sure...
Daddy needs some new glass!

I am in 35mm paradise right now with the Canon 35L II, but the Sigma is almost as good for half the price.

35mm is just such an awesome fl for me. :)
