Indeed there are. 19, 30, and 60, all f/2.8, all optically good, and all cheap!

I figure it's gotta be pretty hard to make a crappy modern prime. You'de probably must really suck to make an optically poor prime these days.

I'm still waiting for the mythical f2 pancake, it can happen right?

Really looking forward to the new voigtlanders as well.

So I'm daft, but please tell me what you would shoot with 50-100mm ??
OK anything and everything but what does that FL excel at.

I was thinking volleyball. For Anything else I can think of a better tool for the job.

SY135 on the side with hood reversed, FE55 on camera (I hope the FE85 is shorter so i can put on the 85 on camera instead and the SY135 on the side.

The only way to put on the SY135, sideways. then you can put one a bit smaller lens on top or two small lenses.

SY135 on camera sideways, FE55 and Canon FD20m on top.

I have B+W filters too before but one time the UV got broken, some tiny broken glass scattered all around the actual glass, then i had a hard time removing them, scary because it was with my 135L. but if ever i finally buy the 85GM, i will protect it with that particular model you've mentioned. the broken UV filter i experienced is still better than the front element being broken.

I think with the filter, it will still close properly. it's not tight at all when i closed the bag with the SY135 inside.

What's your opinion on the bag so far? Do you like it? Also, it's the "field tan" version. Which color is that on the outside? Green or brown?

Agreed. I have become a huge 35 fan in the past 6 months or so. The cv 35/1.7 is a great little lens, but I find I really miss AF for non landscape work.
Also considering the FE 35/1.4. Have you considered that one?

You should consider the M autofocus mount

Outside color is brown.

Haven't gone out with it yet but i walked around the house and it feels good. I like the size.

I think i'm gonna love it. I'll go out later and feel it more. It's classy. It looks expensive. Really good quality as well.

To be honest, this is actually a 85-150mm f/1.8 lens for APS-C, so i guess its for portrait

Yeah I'm not super picky about the build quality of an adapter...but seriously..the locking switch that holds the lens in place felt like it would fall off in a couple weeks of use.

You better be. My fotodiox fell apart with the 70-300L attached. Luckily i could catch the lens with my lap

I already brought the idea up but i think he does not want it as he didnt replied :)

I would love to get som real life reports on how it works. This would make my leica into a super small AF 50 1.4 with fantastic quality!

Sorry if its a dumb question, but if third party manufacturer like Sigma make an FE mount lens, does that mean it will be able to use eye auto focus etc? or is that purely a Sony/Zeiss thing?
