Just catching up with my 52 week Callum project. After 2.5 years of it i actually forgot to take the shot last week! So I ended up just taking these two today and named one as last weeks photo

Quirky Japanese marketing

Yesterday i decided to leave work earlier to get out shooting because the weather looked very promising and because i wasnt out shooting since weeks. I always wanted to photograph that building. It was the highest in switzerland (126m, i can already imagine our american friends here smile by that height ) until the roche building was built in basel.

Btw: this is the FD35 tiltshift. I fixed the adapter issue with a black tape to make a race bycicle handle grip (i hope you understand what i mean hah). However those two were shifted both at least 8mm and i must say that the FD35 TS' performance is downright amazing. 35mm was a bit long for some things but its a quality lens that shifts way more than the TSE24ii did. Even up to the very edge (full shift) it remains sharp up until a tiny bit on the edges. This lens is so stunning and for 500$ quite a bargain.

Edited only in LR as i try to make as much as possible in camera and to improve my LR skills. If you take your time you can do many things and since you work directly in RAW i think it remains quality better.

You have to press and hold whatever button you programme as eye af to make it work. I don't think the same button can be for back button focus. The workaround would be the ael mf/af button. Flick it up and have back button focus on the button and flick it down to have eye af on tye button.

Jup i dont like him. Almost arrogant but when i look at the pictures he takes, dont get me wrong he clearly understands what hes doing, is nothing special in my opinion.

he just made me drool more on the 85GM. I agree with him, if you buy a 1.4 lens, you gotta test it at 1.4 because that's what you paid for. he got me sold out.

So here's my latest exercise in madness. I have not been out shooting in weeks, and when that happens, GAS sets in, or rather "Gear Analysis Syndrome" in this case. Conclusion: I really need to get out shooting!

But here it is...First off, I have too many lenses. I want to slim the kit way down.
Second. I want to favor mostly primes. But I will probably hold on to my Canon EF zooms, for versatility (since I still have the 6D).
But my plan is to basically sell everything else and kinda start over. I want to establish the best prime FOR ME in one FL and go for it.
When I say "FOR ME", I mean the combination of price, specs, weight, size, etc. (not necessarily the best optically, although that's a huge factor).

The colors are fantastic on those, Daniel!

I wanna end up with the 85GM and FE28 only. that's my plan. If i have weddings, i will rent.

For me. I think I need 24mm, 35mm, 50/55mm, 85/90mm and 135mm.
I wouldn't take them all with me on outing, but I'd like to have each one of those on hand when I need it.
The big question is which lens for each FL.

Thanks. Most of the shots were taken with the Minolta 35-70 f/4. I really like the Minolta colors. I got this for my walkaround since I already had an LAEA4. It was only $20, so I certainly can't complain.
