Is that a Brownie far right?
Regardless, great image of some treasured gems.

I like the size and 28mm equivalent fov of the X70, but think I would prefer the faster aperture and viewfinder of the X100T. Tough choice.

a word f caution. I have both the fotodiox and the MB. The fotodiox worked wonderfully on all my canon glass, but wasn't flocked. Then I got the sigma 35/1.4 art and discovered the fotodiox does not work with it at all. It causes the camera to crash. Can't even use it with MF. So I sprung for the MB and that works great with the sigma.

Interesting, the Brian Smith website lists this combo as working well. If it doesn't, the Sigma adapter is due out soon.

If/when you sell the 24-70/4 please remember me. I'm in the market.

I had the lens listed on the buy/sell page, but I took it down as it is my only lens at the moment. However, if you are interested, send me a PM and maybe we can work something out.

Looks good. Small thing, but that little sliver of red showing catches my eye as a distraction; might be nice to clone that away.

That foliage backdrop is nice, but not so sure about so much space in the frame above her head. My preference would be a square crop from the bottom.

Thanks for the thoughts! I did try cloning the red sliver out but kept failing miserably, just never looked natural. Will give it another go.

I tend to agree re the crop, only reason I kept it like that is because I really liked the tree back drop. I'll give the square a try too though. Thanks!

Her skin appears a bit orange to me and the creases in her smile a bit too dark - especially when you can see the color of the skin on her chest and the much lighter area of her forehead. Any improvement here would be very good IMO

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

I did think that too, but it looked ok in Lightroom and funny you mention the dark creases, initially I lightened them up but then removed it again as it looked a bit flat. Thanks!

PP?

I've had it less than a week, yesterday was my first outing with it. So far I really like it, it's a lot easier to nail focus at f/1.4 than I thought... assuming you've got the time. The RAWS require a bit more work to make it "pop" when compared to the FE 28mm for example, but the out of focus stuff renders nicely. The lens itself is a bit weighty, but its a reassuring weight and the focus ring is really nicely damped for fine tuning.
