I am really feeling this one! I'm not sure if those building are really that wonky looking (perspective distortion?) or what, but it totally fits the scene with the up and down of the bridges.

The colors here are pretty much perfect complements of each other.

Only two nits would be to pull back a bit on the street lights and possibly nudge the WB slightly in a warmer direction.

Cheers!

Jeff

The shot is interesting to me because the way the buildings are skewed adds an abstract look to it. I don't like the tree in the center having its top cropped off.

Without being able to data from the shot in regards to lens used, white balance, shutter speed and f number, I believe you could make this shot even more pleasing.

A smaller aperture (ex. f22) would allow the streetlamps to "star-burst" evenly versus the glow that you have here. With the smaller aperture, the shutter speed would slow and then the water would smooth along with the reflections of lights (they would have smoother edges instead of the rough ones shown).

Lastly, with everything slowed down, you are more than likely going to be able to pull out more detail in the buildings than what is shown.

lovely shot of our Capital. Loving the flowing lines in this one, as if everything is a bit crooked. Also love the refection in the water.

Go to Filters adaptive wide angle in PS, and you will get the buildings straight.

Watch a few video's and try it on your first image and show us the re-edit... It's quite easy to use

See this one I did for another with simular problems, last post to thread

Excellent! Frame and hang.

(But first edit out the little incursion in the lower right.)

I like it! Colours and jaunty angles, while looking very real.

I concur.... I love everything else about it.

Oh, and I agree with Bianchi...straighten out the buildings a bit.. either in PS as suggested or Lightroom.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The buildings are very old and are shaped like that rather than being camera distortion. It was shot with a Sony RX1R that was sitting on a bicycle seat for the 3 second exposure. I actually cloned out a bit of the refections in the water but will check the lower right.

would have prefered a wider shot. For me the shot feels a little cramped

I rather like the 35mm on the little Sony RX1R. I don't think any 35mm can beat it so no hate. Just stinks when you are forced to shoot in these conditions using a bike seat as a tripod and can't change lenses. I guess it's a small price to pay :) I updated the pic with a slight crop and cloned out the miss on the far left. Thanks for the input everyone.
