Exporting my RAW to JPG for Google Photos

I want to give Google Photos a shot with my SLR photos and see how it goes.

If I am exporting from Lightroom, what might be the recommended settings? Not sure on the innerworkings of the google photos system so I don't know if it's best to go with resolution, filesize, or something else.

All I know is "16MP" that is compressed by them regardless (it seems)

When I export from LR, my settings will change depending on what the final use is for the images. If its going to reside on the web i.e. social media, FB, that kind of thing, I'll make the image 1000 pixels max on the long side. If it's going to print, 3000 pixels long side. Hope that helps.

Might want to experiment exporting full res JPGs and see how Google handles them
