pic of my first Bug, this Macro stuff is hard ! struggling to keep everything in focus, I think i shall try to take a few lessons, as I'm loving the macro !! Would love to eventually take some of the macro of spiders eyes, a loooong way off, but onwards and upwards ! I shall endeavour to improve….;-)a

If you haven't already done so, I would suggest you read Brian's "Macro Hints and Tips". :-)

A quick question for you, Brian. I have viewed a lot of your images where the exif is in tact and most show that you use Multi-segment metering, are there occasion when you would use other modes, if so when?

Cheers

Alan.

Even that (finding/spotting bugs) improves with practice. I see all kinds of tiny critters that people around me won't see, just because my eyes & brain have kind of tuned-in to noticing such things. And my eyes aren't that great anymore.
