Flash works fine on the camera, set up the wireless controllers, nothing, remote unit lights up and responds to the focus being activated, the remote buttons work fine to trigger the shutter, but no flash??

Are you trying to do this with live view active on the camera?

Nope, can it be I'm actually doing it right and it's faulty?

Just throwing it out there, but this isn't the first thread I've seen of YN products mis-behaving on the 6D. The 622Cs look like a great option to me. Some folks love them, some can't make them work. I'll read along, now.

Just to clarify, MKII 603C, right? I hope I haven't missed the 6DII.

Correct, but it apparently has to be the 603C mk II made for the 1D 6D 7D 5D II, even a straight 603c MkII isn't immediately compatible, pain in the bum...

I was going to upgrade to the controller/triggers, but those seem to have the same issues, some people advertise them as compatible, some don't. So, great products, but a huge number of versions of the same thing, which is very confusing, can't really complain at those prices though............

6D in manual , or automatic, flash enabled, with RF603C in hotshoe, connected with C3 lead, remote 430EX flash mounted to another RF603C on a stand, flash set to manual and slave set to off.

Focus, and the second light on the remote uniot goes gree, take the picture, just the shutter. Press either RF603C units button, the camera takes a photo, no flash.

Put the flash directly onto the camera with no RF603, same settings, all fine.

Annoyingly, I've just found a 603C MK1 for sale now, supposeadly compatible with a 6D, don't know what's going on now!
