Forever I just used windows picture viewer. Full screen image and just click click click through them. When I get to one that I like, I would "Right Click", then choose "Send To" and send a copy of the image to a "To Process" folder.

Microsoft, in it's infinite wisdom, has removed the "Send To" option from the Right Click Context Menu.

I know that there are lots of aftermarket image viewers, Infraview, Polyview, etc.

Does anyone know if any of them incorporate a type of one-handed sort of "Full Screen - Right Click - Send To" method of copying the image to a destination folder?

Do you process in Lightroom?
You could just import them all and delete it discard from within the catalog, saving you some time

Nope, no Lightroom.

The laptop we are talking about has only GIMP and Raw Therapee. It is not intended as an editing machine, just storage for when I travel. Even if I put CS5 on, and used Bridge, I do not believe that Bridge has a full screen option where I can just click, (or right arrow) to the next image in the folder. I would still have to close this image, go to the next image from the thumbnails and then open that one.

Does Lightroom support full screen sequential viewing with an menu that can copy the image to another folder. If so, then I should look into that and an (expensive) option.

The way I would do it in Lightroom it to use the ranking feature. You can go through image/image in essentially full screen and rate images 1-5 by just clicking on the 1-5 buttons (or use the "x" button to reject). At the end of going through the photos you delete the rejected ones (menu pick) then you can filter by your ranking and export them to the new folder you choose.

I shoot RAW so after I cull and rank I export photos I want to edit as TIFFs to a folder then edit them in CS6.

Oh and if you want something else try Infran. Great fast and free photo viewer :)

Rad, ACDSee is a great option for file management. It has recently introduced (much to my chagrin) libraries and all that crap that people that don't use file structure go in for, but it can all be ignored pretty easily and it still works wonders within the normal file structure.

ACDsee INVENTED the "right click send to folder/copy to folder" move way back in like version 2. (was using it to manage my internet er,.. images ,. in the 1990s ;) )

It's still a pretty lightweight and very fast tool to use. (especially as compared to LR)

There are different flavors that go all the way up to a full blown RAW editor with layers and plug ins, but the basic file manager can still be had for about $30.00

http://www.acdsee.com/en/products/acdsee-18 (external link)

In my total disdain for all things LR, I've actually broken down and tried out it's RAW processing, and I am so far pretty pleased 9still early though, and not what you re asking about)

Be aware it will want to take control of all your image file types and be the default. Having been through this a few times I am well versed at dealing, BE SURE to select custom install and you tell it what it can grab hold of.

Have you ever seen this;

http://www.fastrawviewer.com/ (external link)

I had an old beta installed an it was FAST!
I just tried the new trial (it's only $14.00 right now) and it has added a lot of the things I had asked for back then. Folder tree, and move to/copy to folders. It won't do it via right click, but it's in a drop down menu, OR keyboard shortcut "M" (and all keyboard shortcuts are customizable )

I use Fast Picture Viewer (external link). It creates XMP files so LR/Bridge can read any ratings and labels you apply.

I have only had a chance to use it once, but it seemed to work well.
