don't own any Fuji but have been doing research

the youtube x-t10 video by the guy in Calgary that points out the very small buffer issue on this model i think killed this model for me - now it may not really come into play as a walk around family camera but this is the area they clearly saved money on and given how cheap memory is it seems like a stupid crippling of the camera

the two cameras that i keep going back and forth on are the x-t1 and the x100t - the x100t is very interesting to me because it gives you a Leaf Shutter that syncs to 1/4000 and you just accept the 35mm equiv FL and be done with it - keep it small

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

I have either sold or traded some of my Canon equipment for the Fuji XT-1. I had rented one and it reminds me very much of the days of film; both in appearance as well as the files with the different film modes. I really like the Velvia look for landscapes. There is nothing like Fuji green, that is except for Kodachrome. LOL! The lens I shoot most with is the 23mm for street shooting. That thing is amazing. You will not regret buying either, but as it has benn said, "With the firmware upgrade, it is like getting a new camera and Fuji gives good documentation as well. Come and join the Fuji party.

"Someone asked, what camera do you shoot with? Canon, of course, I replied. But when there was film, I shot Nikon. Someone then said, what is film?"

I went from XT-1 to X100T and haven't looked back! The X100T is much more of a personal companion the the XT-1. No ILC, but the built in ND and flash did it for me. As a walk around camera, I don't like to carry more than the bare minimum.
The only thing I wish it had was bracketing of more than one stop. Not a good HDR camera if you're shooting bursts.

I think I'm the only one that feels the Velvia film mode is too saturated or vibrant. I just shoot mainly in the silky Classic Chrome mode.

It is a bit much but for fall and spring scenes, the extra boost just adds a very unique look in the yellows and greens.

For me, it's actually the greens that hurt my eyes. To be fair, I'm only judging from the EVF and LCD image and not the actual jpeg file SOOC.
