I spent a morning in a North Yorkshire woodland last week trying for Pied Flycatchers. While I was waiting this stunning Kestrel made an appearance and was totally unfazed by my presence :-D

Absolutely stunning. Lucky you!

The only times I ever see Kestrels is from the car when they hover over motorway, which doesn't make it very convenient for taking shots...

The perch in your 1st image adds immensely to the visual interest and the somewhat peekaboo posture does as well. Well done!
